Unlike other nonprofits, SPEAK is a true grass-roots organisation with no central management or hierarchy. This project involved working closely with many different individuals and groups to develop the design and agree the site features.

To help SPEAK’s staff, volunteers and network members get the most from the new site, I have held a number of training workshop, written extensive documentation and created video walkthroughs.

Responsibilities
Website design, user experience and information architecture, Drupal setup, development and theme building.

Site details
Drupal 6 with contributed modules, including CCK, Content Template, Context, Imagecache, Organic Groups, Panels, Pathauto, Petition, Views and WYSIWYG.

Other integrated services and libraries include Blueprint, CKEditor, Facebook, jQuery, Mailchimp and Twitter.
